The UT Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery will hold elections of officers at its last meeting this semester. The meeting will be on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 5:00pm till 5:50pm in John Sykes 316. Become one of the leaders in your ACM Student Chapter. There are positions of the President, Vice President, Student Government Liaison, Secretary, Website Administrator and others if there is interest. These officers will be in office in 2013-2014 academic year. It is a great opportunity to get involved and network with industry professionals.

Membership in UT-ACM is open to any student at the University of Tampa. Not a member yet? It is time to join! You can also join the national ACM. As an ACM Student Member you have access to 400 top computing books, 1,200 online self-paced computing courses, online career and industry news digests,  and a global network of more than 80,000 members. You don’t have to be a member of ACM to be a member of UT-ACM, however, all officers must be members of ACM.

If you are interested in running for one or more of the officer positions listed above, please contact Dr. Veltri at nveltri@ut.edu and your name will be added to the ballot.
